Arrival Time:
If you're a new student, please arrive 10 minutes early. This will allow us time to register all new students so we can start the event on time.
What Shoes Should I Wear?
If you don't have dance shoes, wear comfortable shoes with a smooth sole such as a dress shoe or tennis shoe. Anything besides flip-flops will work as long as you feel comfortable and can dance for an hour. Shoes that lace up or have an ankle strap will stay in place better while dancing. We don't recommend high heels unless they are dance shoes.
Dance shoes come in all styles, from a flashy latin heel, to a comfortable practice shoe, dressy wingtips, and everything in between. You can buy dance shoes at our studio or we can order something special for you. Please see our Guide To Ballroom Dance Shoes for helpful tips.
Observation Policy
Only enrolled participants are permitted at our dance parties. We do not allow children, friends, or family members to observe studio events without signing up for that class or party. No children under 18 (unless they are enrolled students). This fosters the learning environment and enables our staff and students to focus during class. If you have a friend or child who is interested in learning to dance please let our staff know so we can recommend the best way for them to get started :-)
24 Hour Cancellation policy
If you cannot attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
- Call or text us at 843-338-2870 if you can't attend.
- If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged for the party.
