Experience the passion of Argentine Tango with Harby Gonzalez! Enjoy an day of inspiring Tango workshops and a fun practica. We'll be hosting Harby at our studio the first Saturday every month. Join us as we build our friendly and fun lowcountry Tango community!

First Saturday

  • 5:15 - 5:45 PM - Dinner break at the studio
  • 5:45 - 7:00 PM - Practica

Workshop Details
In these workshops you'll learn essential elements and proper technique that is vital for every dancer - absolute beginner through advanced intermediate level. Be sure to join us for the whole afternoon to deepen and develop your ability to express and enjoy the beauty of Argentine Tango. Harby is a master instructor and you'll want to take advantage of his exceptional knowledge, inspirational instruction, and lifelong passion for Tango. Join us!

About the Instructor
Harby Gonzalez is a native of Colombia, South America and is a graduate of the National School of Argentine Tango, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been dancing Argentine Tango since the age of 12 and started performing professionally at the age of 18. Harby has toured and performed in several Tango productions around the world, including “Bajo el ala del Sombrero”, directed by Roberto Erbin. He has also performed with Mariano Mores, one of the best known Tango Orchestras in the world. Harby was a dancer for the Washington-based orchestra QuinTango with which he toured, performing throughout the USA and abroad. His collaborations with QuinTango include: a seven-year run at the Spoleto festival, performing with the National Symphony Orquestra at the George Washington theater, and a Tango cruise through South America. Harby has been teaching and performing in the United States since 1995 when he brought Argentine Tango to much of the southeastern region. Harby is currently based at in Columbia, South Carolina and travels throughout the country to teach and perform.
